At Šibabi Sewing Patterns, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains our policy for digital products including PDF sewing patterns, online courses, and video tutorials.

Understanding Digital Products

All our products are digital downloads delivered instantly via email or download link. Once you receive access to the files, you have permanent access to the content. Due to the nature of digital products, we have specific refund guidelines outlined below.

Our Refund Policy

General Policy:

All sales are final once you have received access to your digital download. We cannot offer refunds for digital products that have been successfully delivered and accessed.

Why? Digital products cannot be "returned" like physical items. Once you download or access the files, you have received the full product value.

Exceptions - When We DO Offer Refunds

We will provide a full refund or replacement in the following situations:

1. Technical Issues:

  • The download link doesn't work and we cannot resolve the issue within 48 hours
  • The PDF file is corrupted, unreadable, or won't open
  • The file is missing pages or content described in the product listing
  • Video tutorials are broken or won't play

2. Duplicate Purchase:

  • You accidentally purchased the same product twice
  • We will refund the duplicate purchase immediately

3. Product Not as Described:

  • The product is significantly different from what was advertised
  • Missing promised content (e.g., video tutorial not included when advertised)
  • Wrong size range or format delivered

4. Payment Error:

  • You were charged incorrectly or multiple times
  • Payment was processed but you never received the download link

When We CANNOT Offer Refunds

We cannot provide refunds in the following situations:

  • Change of mind: You decided you don't want the pattern after downloading
  • Skill level: The pattern is too difficult for your current skill level (we clearly mark beginner-friendly patterns)
  • Sizing issues: The pattern doesn't fit as expected (all patterns include size charts)
  • Fabric choice: Your finished garment didn't turn out as expected due to fabric selection
  • Printing issues: Problems printing the PDF at home (we provide both A4 and A1 formats)
  • Already used: You've already sewn the pattern and are unhappy with your results
  • Buyer's remorse: You purchased during a sale and later regret it

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under our exceptions policy:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of your purchase date
  2. Email us at: info@sibabipatterns.com
  3. Include your order number and detailed explanation of the issue
  4. Provide screenshots or evidence if applicable (e.g., error messages, corrupted files)

We will respond within 48 hours (business days) and work to resolve your issue.

Resolution Options

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • Full refund to your original payment method
  • Replacement file if the original was corrupted
  • Store credit for a different pattern
  • Technical support to help you access or use the product
  • Extended support via our Facebook community group

Refund Processing Time

If your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account

Course and Bundle Refunds

Online Courses (e.g., Božena Business Course, Sewing for Baby Course):

  • Refunds available within 14 days if you haven't accessed more than 20% of the course content
  • Once you've completed significant portions of the course, refunds are not available
  • Technical issues with course access are always eligible for refunds or fixes

Pattern Bundles:

  • Refund policy applies to the entire bundle
  • We cannot offer partial refunds for individual patterns within a bundle

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company:

  • Please contact us first - we're happy to resolve issues directly
  • Chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and access to purchased products
  • We will provide evidence of delivery to your payment provider

EU Consumer Rights (14-Day Withdrawal Period)

For customers in the European Union:

Under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. However, you expressly agree to waive this right when purchasing digital content that is delivered immediately.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You want immediate access to the digital product
  • You waive your 14-day withdrawal right
  • The product is delivered instantly and cannot be returned

This waiver is required by EU law for digital products with immediate delivery.
